Chart table equipment survey. The living quarters are of a good ergonomics and well maintained. Everything is very clean. The paint is in very good condition. Two bunks one on port, one on starboard. One seat at the chart-table. One very minimal kitchen equipment of good ergonomics.

We then surveyed all joints of Solent-stay chain-plate, Staysail-stay chain-plate, ORC jib chainplate, port and starboard shrouds chain-plates, running backstays chain-plates as well as the mast step area, and did not notice any structural defect. Both the coach-roof and cockpit are in good maintenance state. We have noted that two new Harken 880 Self-tailing winches with carbon drums had been fitted. The other winches were as previously installed as are both winch pedestals.

CONSTRUCTION
Construction notes
This yacht was built in a sandwich of carbon fibre and Nomex core, along the latest technologies of pre-impregnated carbon fibre in a female mould. Owen-Clarke Group designed the hull as well as dagger-boards and keel.

Final notes
Central Lechera Asturiana is Ex-Mutua Madrileña and Ex-Ecover.
This yacht entered the 2004 Vendee Globe 2004 when she finished 3rd. The keel was renewed after that race. The boat was refitted in spring 2007 and was entered in the Barcelona World Race as Mutua Madrileña and finish fourth.
