Accommodations notes
Below deck Beluga Sailing the main impression one gets is of total purism. Heavy interior has been totally neglected. The for and the aft are completely empty to optimise weight balance and are only divided by nets.
Six berths cater for an urgent need for sleep during long distance racing. Furthermore the porta potty and a small galley are available if needed. The navigator always moves to the windward side with his movable navigation unit.
Fridge: Place yes, but no cooling

Deck equipment notes
The huge working area in the cockpit is dominated by the broad traveller and the huge carbon wheel using maximum beam. The main sheet covered under deck is trimmed by two 53 self tailing winches by Harken on either side of the boat. Two more 48 Harken self tailing winches are mounted just in front of them. The narrow and low cabin roof allows for optimal crew agility and trim.
All halyards and necessary trim options are channelled on the cabin roof to be worked on by the pit man with his pair set of 48 self tailing winches.
All genoa leads are fully adjustable even under full load and the heavy sheeted “Anakonda†is the pointing turbo as the genoa can be sheeted even tighter to the mid ship line. This allows for extreme pointing abilities in light and medium wind conditions. A huge round bow hatch allows for a safe spinnaker take away. The backstay is adjustable from the steering console by the main trimmer.
Rudder mechanism Jefa with carbon rudder. Steering wheel Jefa carbon.
- Extra place for liferaft in the Cockpit
- Possibility to go throw the hull with Endoskop
- Possibility to put Lead inside the keel from the inside oft he boat to bring up the stability
quickly.
