Description
The first Rodman JV42 was built for the Spanish Telefonica Movistar Team, led by HM King Juan Carlos of Spain. It appears that a total of at least 7 Rodman JV42s were built, the others being scattered around the world. The Rodman 42 was originally aimed at racing under IMS and this design together with the Grand Soleil 42R were the most competitive models while the IMS rule was in use, dominating the IMS600 class. “My Way” was originally owned by George Andreadis and it was raced successfully the first years by Meliti Team. When Meliti Team changed boat she remained in dry dock for few years until the current owner bought her in 2013. The boat has been used very lightly all these years and always with top crews and she has been constantly maintained by professionals.
