Description
VOR 60 designed by Bruce Farr and built by Cookson Boats NZ. This VOR 60 was originally named Swedish Match, it competed in the 1997-98 Withbread Round the World Race and finished 3rd. Second name was Nokia and competed in the 1999 Sydney to Hobart Race with line honours. Boat have been stored inside a wharehouse from 2003 to 2009, it is now use in Norh America for training and Transatlantic racing. El Unicornio is presently stored on hard in Levis Quebec Canada, boat is in very good condition, professionally maintained and upgraded over the years. NOTE: Consider that this sailboat has been Sweedish Match at rest in a warehouse in Sweden for more than 6 consecutive years and then about ten years he has been stored 6 months a year in winters in Quebec. The El Unicornio has never been damaged or suffered any accidents and then nothing has been neglected for its maintenance.
